Time Flies

The majority of our stay here in Mississippi has gone by so fast. It helped a ton that I was able to go home in October, both of us went home for Christmas, and that my parents came here to visit. I can't believe that it was a year ago today that we packed up the U-Haul and left our beautiful home in Utah. We took this picture just before we hit the road.
In only 42 days we will be packing up all our stuff again and driving back to Utah! It will be another short visit but we are closer to being home for good :)
It hasn't been easy for me being away from family and friends. We missed the birth of one of my nephews and we will miss the other one that is due in September. Thank you to my siblings though that have been awesome at sending pictures or posting things on their blogs and calling us. I miss family gatherings and being able to play with my nieces and nephews. I miss being able to go and see our friends and to just go out and do things. It will happen soon though!
I have liked parts of living here. We have met some great people and families. The Christensen's were a life saver when we met them. I am sad that they have moved but we have made friends for life with them. They are so sweet and fun and have the greatest kids. We miss you guys! I have also liked our ward here. I never thought I would be a Young Women's president but it happened. I thought you had to have kids of your own or be older :) The youth here are amazing and so fun to be with. I am looking forward to Youth Conference and Girls Camp in the next few weeks.
