I'm really bored, David is fast asleep and so I thought I would entertain myself by writing on our blog. This is really random and pointless so sorry in advance :)
We are just about half way done here in Mississippi! It really has been fun here and we have met some amazing people. I think it has been a good experience for the both of us. However, I really want to go home. I miss our family, friends, familiar places, how close stores are, and I really miss our house. I am just happy that when David's training is over we get to go back home!
I have had to look at this adventure with a completely different attitude. I told myself that I get to take a year and a half off. I don't have to work at all. It has been great for the past 7 months but I am getting bored. So I have picked up a new hobby. I have been drawing and painting different things on wood. It has been fun and strangely it really relaxes me. I'll have to post pics when I am done.
Another thing that I have looked differently at is when David and I are able to move back home. It will be like moving into a brand new house all over again. We are going to paint and start from scratch on decorating! I have already saved up quite a bit. I am so excited and I get new ideas everyday. I love that David and I have the same taste when it comes to decorating. It makes life wonderful.
I think the best thing about David's training is that I get to be here with him! I wouldn't be able to handle being away from him for a year and a half. Bless those wives that do it, especially ones with kids. David is an amazing man to me and he still amazes me everyday. I feel so lucky to be his wife. I love that he continued to follow his dream and never gave up, even when the clock was ticking! I love that he can finish my thoughts and that we can look at each other and just know what the other is thinking. I love him so much and I am so proud of him! This is my favorite picture of him, love his eyes, so I thought I would share it with you all.
Hope all is going well with everyone back home. We love you and miss you tons! Also, please send or post more pics of our cute nieces and nephews!

I just loved you post!!! So sweet. So true about how we have to view things a little different while going through this. I wish you were closer we could hang out every day I really miss that. I am so glad you get to go home to what a difference that will make. I am excited we will be closer to you guys in the end. You two have really touched me life and have become amazing friends I am so glad I had this experience so I could get to know you guys too. Just wish we would have all started closer together. Oh is you have any great ideas on decorating please let me know I finally have a home again to decorate and am way excited about it. Now if we only really got to move in on the 3rd of March when we sign and not June Oh well. Miss you guys. Good luck with the painting. I think I would like one I like you taste and we need cool stuff for our home. So how much do you charge? Ok I'll be done now that I have writen a novel. Miss ya. see ya soon.
I have been so bad at posting pictures. For some reason the stress we have been under this past year, i haven't taken very many and posted even less pictures. I think I just want this year to go away and not taking pictures helps???? I have no excuse. I will post some. We miss you and can't wait to have you home!
