Class has started!

David started class on Thursday and he had his first Physiology test today. He got 100%! On Monday they got to "play" outside and learn the techniques of the parachute landing fall. I had to capture it on video because watching 29 guys doing this is pretty funny. David is the tall one in the middle who almost hits the guy in the head with the white helmet. He has long legs, it isn't his fault. They did this 4 times from the ground and then they got to graduate to a 2ft jump and then a 4ft jump. It was comical. After that they got dragged on the ground by one another to see if they could unclip the "parachute" that was dragging them. They had a lot of fun but it was really hot. While they were in the middle of this, an announcement came over the radio to the whole base that it was a black flag. It means you aren't supposed to do any form of exercise outside. They weren't able to finish but hopefully I'll get more pictures/video when they do.


Here is David in the harness. The helmets don't help any when it is so hot outside. He was so happy to go back inside to air conditioned rooms.
Things have continued to go really well for us. David has been keeping himself busy while memorizing all of his books ......
and I have been keeping busy by making more jewelry. This is the latest one I have made. I am going to start selling them online (still debating what site to put them on). I want to get more made before I put them on a site so it keeps me entertained.
