Fun Times

We are still having a great time here in beautiful Mississippi. However our time here is almost over. David graduates in 8 1/2 weeks!! I have already started packing up our house. We are both so excited to be done with training. So family and friends in Utah, we will be home starting August 19th for about 2 weeks.

It is extremely hot and humid here right now and the "big voice" system has told everyone on base that it is a black flag day for the past few days. This means that it is too hot and humid to do any physical excercise outside. When you walk outside you can see the humidity. It is awful. Well I had to go pick up a few things at the grocery store and when I went in it was sort of overcast. I didn't think much about it. Maybe 15-20 minutes later, I check out, get ready to go out to my car, and it is pouring rain. The sky has turned completely dark, the winds were crazy, and huge puddles were forming fast! I waited for awhile to see if it would calm down but after 10 minutes of waiting it just got worse. So I figured I was going to get wet no matter what and made a run for it. I ended up soaking wet. It was a fun afternoon!
Most people know that I bruise extremely easy. I have ever since I was little. I remember my sisters pinched me during church one day and I had a huge bruise on my arm within a 1/2 hour. Well I bruise even easier now since I take aspirin everyday. This beautiful bruise came from our neighbors dog. I had shorts on when I went over there and he got excited and was jumping up. His paw landed on my leg, slid down, and this was the end result. It actually looks a lot better now. I have had it for a week and it used to be a lot darker.

This post is completely random I know but for all of you coming out to David's graduation you can prepare for the insane weather. I am so happy to see all of you soon!
