T-1 Dollar Ride

On Thursday, I had my first flight in the T-1A Jayhawk. It was lots of fun with a lot going on. This is a picture of my flying partner Lt Tanner Roth and Cpt Kluse, the instructor. We took off out of Columbus and went to a practice area for manuevers and then went to Montgomery, AL to practice touch and go's.
The T-1 flys a lot different than the T-6 but I really enjoy working as a crew in the aircraft. The following picture was taken at about 13,000 ft over a moderate cloud deck.
We now only have 21 weeks until graduation! Julie updates me weekly on this. We are excited to finish up here, go to Oklahoma for a little while, and then come back home.

Hey Julie! It was a very, very strange dream, ha ha, completely random. I saw your post about how many weeks you have left, that is so exciting!!! You're going to feel like you're coming home and moving into a new house again. :) I cannot wait until you guys come back. Oh, btw, the ward split was a good thing...much, much better now. :)
