The Adjutant General's Cup
David and I spent our last weekend in May at Camp Williams. David was participating in the Adjutant General's Cup. Air National Guard and Army National Guard send 4-man teams to participate in rifle and pistol competitions. There were about 72 shooters total. David's team won the cup again this year! This is the third year in a row. The team below is Palmer, Owenby, Mackey, and Buttars. Their team got 1st place in the Reflexive Fire Rifle match, Advanced Distance Rifle match, Pistol match, Patton match (pistol), and the Alternate Pistol match. They got 3rd place in the Machine Gun match.
Air National Guard sent in 4 teams (we are missing a guy in the picture). They did a great job and walked away with the majority of the awards. I got to help out and track the scores for all the shooters. It was fun being able to help out and watch David shoot in the different matches. The next match, MAC VII, is in a week and David is hoping he can beat some of his own top scores.
