My Parents Came to Visit!!

My parents came to visit this past week. It was so much fun. I met them in Memphis and went out and played! Our first stop was Graceland. I thought I didn't know a lot of Elvis songs but I actually do. I just know them by other people singing them. His house was fun to walk through and I was amazed of how many albums he sold. He sold over 400,000,000 albums! That is insane to me. There were multiple rooms filled with all of his trophies and awards. Another thing that I didn't know about was how much he gave to charities. It was cool to see.

After some time in Memphis we drove down to Columbus to spend time with David. He took us out to see the planes and watch some take off.

The next day we headed down to the Riverwalk. It is a park and walkways that line the Tombigbee River.

After that we headed over to Friendship Cemetary. This is where the first Memorial Day was held. After the Civil War the women helping decided that everyone who lost their lives should be honored no matter what side they fought on.

These are just a few of the soldiers headstones. The majority of them are unknown soldiers.

We went to downtown Columbus, and Starkville as well. We had so much fun with them here and it was too short of a visit. I am so happy they came and can't wait to see them again in August for graduation. I am glad they came now so they could walk around and see the city. It is going to horribly hot and humid when they come back.
