In June, David had the opportunity to interview for a pilot slot with the Air National Guard. They had 70 applicants and only 8 got interviews. We were so happy and relieved to hear that he got the slot! He will be trained to fly the KC-135. This was his last year to get hired on with the Guard because you have to be in training before you are 30. He has been working hard towards this for a long time and I am so proud of him! Good job babe!
Well David told me that he would be going to training in the Spring of 2009 so we had plenty of time to get ready and get our affairs in order. Well we had a couple of months to get ready. David left a few days ago to go to Officer's Training. He won't be back until November21st! The last week of his training is when we will find out when and where we will both be moving for about a year and a half. We will be moving to Texas, Mississippi, or Oklahoma! I am shooting for Texas and then Erin will come visit me so that we can go to the Schlitterbaun!

Yay for finding out soon! I'm still jealous you get to go to flight school! :) Let me know if you need to get out of the house! Robbie is gone a lot at night to fly so we can hang out if you want!
